Ya’qub’s Patience and a Family Together Again

The Prophet Ya'qub, peace be upon him, is sad for his son Yusuf, peace be upon him, but he never loses hope in Allah's mercy. After many years, Yusuf forgives his brothers and the whole family is together again. The story teaches us to be patient, to hope, and to forgive.

From the StoryThe brothers told their father everything. And Ya’qub said: No, you have made up a story. So patience is best, a beautiful patience. Perhaps Allah will bring them all back to me together. He is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. Even now, Ya’qub did not give up hope. He believed Allah could bring his sons home, all of them.
